Direct Hua Hin–U-Tapao Flights Set to Boost Connectivity and Tourism

Direct Hua Hin–U-Tapao flights connect two major Thai coastlines, delivering a fast link between Hua Hin and the Pattaya–Rayong region. EZY Airlines will operate regular passenger flights from October 23, 2026, with services on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The service follows a successful inaugural flight on September 30. The initial aircraft is a Cessna Caravan C208B configured for about 10 passengers. Promotional one-way fares are expected to start around THB 2,900, with tickets on sale from October 10. The route shortens travel time to about 40 minutes, offering a convenient alternative to road travel between Hua Hin and the Pattaya–Rayong area. The inaugural flight departed Hua Hin at 8:49 a.m. and arrived at U-Tapao at 9:29 a.m. The link is expected to boost domestic air connectivity for Hua Hin, supporting easier weekend trips and longer stays for visitors. The Friday-to-Monday schedule suits short breaks and regional travel between Hua Hin and the Eastern Seaboard. The new connection also fits broader plans to develop direct links to other regional destinations, strengthening Hua Hin’s accessibility without relying on Bangkok. This development adds to Hua Hin’s growing aviation network and complements the area’s coastal appeal and tourism infrastructure.
